Happy holidays! The season is in full swing and if you’re not too busy wrapping presents and baking cookies, now’s the perfect time to get out and enjoy the beautiful weather and all of the holiday festivities taking place in the City Beautiful. We’ve got some suggestions on how you can feel extra festive this weekend – check it out!
Light Up Lake Eola: Head to Lake Eola any night of the week through the end of the month to enjoy the cool weather and check out giant nutcrackers, thousands and thousands of lights, and a 72 foot tall Christmas tree that puts on a synchronized light and music show every hour in the evening.
SeaWorld’s Christmas Celebration: SeaWorld’s Christmas Celebration is a seasonal event running through December 31 on weekends. The park is transformed with millions of lights and you can meet Rudolph and Santa as you walk through Rudolph’s movie experience. See back-to-back showings of the Rudolph movie, explore all of the holiday shopping, and snack on special holiday dining options like gourmet hot chocolate, a Christmas dinner stack, cookies, pumpkin spice loaf, and more. And don’t forget to check out the holiday ice skating show at Bayside Stadium!
Kissimmee Festival of Lights Parade: Historic Downtown Kissimmee is hosting their annual Festival of Lights parade on December 12, 2020 at 7 pm. It features music, dancing, and thousands of lights and is a perfect way to get into the holiday spirit. Get there early to get a good spot and don’t forget your mask!
Santa’s Wonderland at Bass Pro Shops: Meet Santa in a safe and contactless way this holiday season and explore Santa’s Wonderland! You can also pick up holiday craft kits and activities to bring Christmas home with you and shop Bass Pro’s Santa’s Toy Shop to multitask and get some holiday shopping finished. You have to make reservations online ahead of time and don’t forget to bring your mask.
Christmas at Gaylord Palms: Gaylord Palms may not be hosting their famous ICE! exhibit this year, but they are hosting other incredible holiday activities to get you into the Christmas spirit! Experience an I Love Christmas movie pop-up where you can walk through scenes from your favorite holiday movies, a Feast with the Grinch, the Snow Factory, a Christmas light show, and more. This event runs through January 3.
Night of a Million Lights: The Give Kids the World Village has been transformed into a winter wonderland with more than three million lights on display this holiday season! Admission includes ice cream and hot cocoa and you can meet Santa after explore Christmas villas, a gingerbread arch, and more. Tickets must be purchased ahead of time and the event runs through January 3.
Dazzling Nights at Leu Gardens: Leu Gardens has been completely transformed with lights, music, and other interactive holiday elements. Buy your tickets and don’t miss out on your chance to explore this winter wonderland – the event runs through January 3.
