Things to do in Orlando for Valentine’s Day 2020

Hopefully, you’ve made plans for you and the special someone (or someones, if it’s a family and friends night) in your life. However, if you’re still scrambling for ideas or you want to stretch your celebrations into the weekend, we’re here to help! Check out some of our favorite Valentine’s Day activities going on in Orlando this weekend.
Valentine’s Day Sunset Paddle: 2/14, 4:40-6:40 pm, Dinky Dock in Winter Park
Hit the water and paddle out to watch the sunset this Valentine’s Day! This event is sponsored by Get Up and Go Kayaking, which means you’ll have a unique experience as you can rent one of their clear kayaks to explore the Winter Park Chain of Lakes. Tickets are $50 per person.
Valentine’s Day Carriage Tours: 2/14, 6-10 pm, 104 S. Lakeview Ave. in Winter Garden
Take a romantic carriage ride with your someone special through downtown Winter Garden! You’ll get to ride in a special Cinderella coach for a 20-minute tour through this beautiful historic district. Tours are $80 per carriage – be sure to call for a reservation.
Harbor Nights Romantico: 2/14, 6:30 pm, Loew’s Portofino Bay Hotel at Universal Orlando
Get the ambiance of the Mediterranean and all the romance that goes along with it without leaving the City Beautiful! This special Valentine’s Day event features wine and sparkling wines, gourmet foods from the hotel’s specialty restaurants, and live music and dancing courtesy of the I-4 band. Tickets start at $65.
SAK Comedy Lab Valentine’s Shows: 2/14, 7:30 pm at Sak Comedy Lab in downtown Orlando
Get your laugh on this Valentine’s Day and check out this 90-minute improv show. Tickets start at $23, but you can upgrade to the Sweetheart or Extra Special packages to get extra amenities like sodas, popcorn, beer and wine, and even a special photo message to your special someone to be included in the slideshow on the big screen.
Leu Gardens Valentine’s Concert: 2/14, 7 pm at Harry P. Leu Gardens
Relax and enjoy the gardens to the soundtrack of the Dave Capp Project, Slickwood, and the Mud Rooster Blues. You can bring a blanket or chairs to get comfortable, and Sugarbuzz will be there selling specialty desserts and coffee. Tickets are $15.
Valentine’s Afternoon Tea: 2/14 – 2/16, various times, The Tea Room Experience at 420 E Church St. in downtown Orlando
Celebrate Valentine’s Day this weekend with a special themed tea. Tickets are $30 for adults and $17 for children, and the spread will include finger sandwiches, scones with clotted cream and preserves, sweet and savory pastries, unlimited tea (of course), and a complimentary mimosa!
Valentine’s Day Skate: 2/14, 8-11 pm, Astro Skate at 866 Goldenrod Rd.
Hit the skating rink with the family for a “Red Out Skate Night” this Valentine’s Day! If you wear a red shirt, you can get in the door for just $6, and if you wear a red shirt AND shoes you can get in for $4. The person wearing the most red will be awarded a free pair of special “crazy skates” and there will also be a Tik Tok dance contest – the winner gets dinner for two at Outback Steakhouse and 2 movie tickets.
