• A new TRD Off-Road package will be available on the Platinum 4×4 trims. The package increases the Tundra’s horsepower to 421 and torque to 479 lb-ft. It increases airflow to the turbochargers, and it also includes special badging and custom exhaust tips.
• New powertrain options include a twin-turbo V6 engine and hybrid twin-turbo V6. Both are paired with a 10-speed electronically controlled automatic transmission. You’ll have sequential shift mode, uphill/downhill shift logic, and TOW/HAUL driving modes at your fingertips.
• The twin-turbo V6 offers 389 horsepower and 479 lb-ft torque.
• The hybrid twin-turbo V6 brings 437 horsepower and 583 lb-ft torque to the table.
• Overall, this Orlando Toyota truck can tow up to 12,000 lbs.

Here are a few more 2024 Toyota Tundra performance upgrades:

• It uses high-strength steel throughout the chassis to increase rigidity for better handling. Previous generations used aluminum. The frame cross members have been doubled in size for extra reinforcement.
• On Limited models and above, the cab is mounted with hydraulic mounts for added comfort. Plus, the new sheet-molded compound (SMC) bed offers additional protection from dents and dings when carrying cargo.

Toyota Tundra suspension upgrades: What to expect

We can’t talk about the Toyota Tundra performance upgrades without mentioning the suspension. Here are the Orlando Toyota Tundra suspension upgrades waiting for you:

• There’s a brand-new TRD 3-inch suspension lift kit that can now be installed at the factory. This means better clearance, which equals a more exciting off-road performance.
• New Bilstein monotone shocks on the TRD Off-Road package improve damping. Further, there are 2.5-diameter FOX internal bypass shocks that increase the front lift by 1.1 inches.

Toyota Tundra upgrades for style in 2024

You’ve got some stylistic Toyota Tundra upgrades to look forward to in the 2024 model year, too. Here’s what to expect:

• A new Nightshade Edition is headed to Toyota of Orlando. It’ll feature blacked-out 20-inch wheels, over fenders, grille, mirror caps, and badges. It’ll also be available in more colors than in previous years.  You can drive home a Nightshade in Ice Cap, Wind Chill Pearl, Magnetic Gray Metallic, Midnight Black Metallic, Celestial Silver Metallic, Supersonic Red, Lunar Rock, and Blueprint.
• You’ll also have a brand-new paint color to consider – Terra is the TRD Pro exclusive color for 2024.
