The 2021 Turkey Trot 5K race is taking place in Avalon Park this year on Thursday, Nov. 25 at 8 am (registration starts at 7 am or you can register online beforehand). Proceeds benefit the Avalon Park Foundation, a non-profit.

Orlando Thanksgiving at Rosen Plaza Hotel: Want the works when it comes to Thanksgiving dinner, but don’t feel like cooking it OR cleaning it up? Thanksgiving Day Gobble Paddle: Get ready to feast by burning calories ahead of time! Epic Paddle Adventures is hosting a Thanksgiving Day paddle at 8 am on Lake Ivanhoe in Orlando. The event is beginner-friendly and will have multiple guides, so don’t worry about having enough experience. Your event fee includes a paddleboard, paddle, and other safety equipment rental, as well as a dry bag for your phone, a lesson, and water and light snacks to keep you moving. You should bring sunscreen and sunglasses, as well as a towel and a change of clothes.
