All-new 2024 Toyota Grand Highlander is coming

An all-new SUV has been added to the Toyota lineup – the 2024 Toyota Grand Highlander was unveiled at the Chicago Auto Show last week, and Toyota of Orlando has the details. Get ready for this incredible new family ride, coming to a dealer near you!

As we said, the 2024 Toyota Grand Highlander is all new. It’s a reboot of the best-selling Orlando Toyota Highlander, but bigger – much bigger. While the original Toyota Highlander does have a third row, it’s not exactly known for being spacious or comfortable, especially for adults. The 2024 Grand Highlander, on the other hand, takes that third row and expands it to ensure even adults can stretch out and get comfortable. Here are some of the highlights coming with the introduction of this new Toyota to the lineup.

• It’ll come in three grades (XLE, Limited, and Platinum) with three different powertrains – a 2.4L turbo gas engine, a 2.5L hybrid that gets 34 mpg combined, and a hybrid MAX powertrain that gets 362 horsepower.
• It’ll offer both front-wheel drive and all-wheel drive options, paddle shifters, and dial multi-terrain select.
• It’ll also be part of the “Beyond Zero” family (Toyota’s new lineup that promises maximum fuel efficiency and low emissions) and have BZ badging
• The third row – as promised – will comfortably seat three adults but still leave room for seven carry-on suitcases in the cargo area behind it. All in all, if you fold down the second and third rows, you’ll have an astounding 98 cubic feet of space.
• It packs a ton of tech designed to keep you entertained and connected, including a standard 12.3-inch Toyota Audio Multimedia system, Connected Service Drive Connect with Intelligent Assistant, Cloud Navigation and Destination Assist, dual Bluetooth phone connectivity, and standard wireless Apple CarPlay® and Android Auto. You’ll also love features like Wi-Fi Connect, HD Radio, SiriusXM® Platinum, a JBL® Premium Audio system with 11 speakers, seven USB-C ports, and Remote Connect.
• You’ll still feel just as safe as you do in the original Orlando Toyota Highlander with safety features like Safety Connect, Service Connect, Blind Spot Monitor with Rear Cross Traffic Alert, and Front and Rear Parking Assist with Automatic Braking.
• And don’t forget convenience tech like a digital key, power rear liftgate with kick power, Qi wireless charging, an auto-dimming rearview mirror, rain-sensing wipers, and a beautiful panoramic moonroof.

Now let’s talk about aesthetics. The 2024 Toyota Grand Highlander definitely evokes its smaller sibling – the Orlando Toyota Highlander – but obviously, it’s larger and as such, has a different look in the rear especially. Here are some elements we love:

• A unique, trapezoidal, hammerhead front grille
• Multiple wheel sizes that get all the way up to 20″
• An available exclusive front and rear lower bumper
• Roof rails
• A soft-padded instrument panel and available wood-effect trim
• SofTex, Leather-trimmed, or Ultrasuede and leather seats with premium stitching and 10-way power-adjustable settings, all available in Light Gray and Black
