Good news – if you’re thinking about putting a hybrid in your driveway, you’ve got a new option headed your way in 2025. Toyota recently announced that the 2025 Toyota Camry will be a hybrid only, and it’s getting a fresh new look + top new tech inside the cabin + an upgraded hybrid system that brings more power to the table. Our Orlando Toyota dealership has the details!
The 2025 Toyota Camry is bringing new performance elements to the table
What’s new on the 2025 Toyota Camry? Here’s what you can expect when this refreshed best-seller arrives at Toyota of Orlando:
- The biggest change is that it’ll be exclusively hybrid. The 2025 Toyota Camry will sport the 5th Generation Toyota Hybrid System (THS 5). A 2.5L 4-cylinder engine will be under the hood as part of the powertrain, but gone are the solely gas models. This new hybrid system also uses lighter and more compact electric motors to enhance performance over previous years.
- It’ll be available in All-Wheel Drive and Front-Wheel Drive. AWD will be available on ALL grades of the new 2025 Toyota Camry and a rear electric drive motor generator will supply power to the back wheels. This means better traction in slippery conditions.
- This new Orlando Toyota will also have more horsepower in the new electronic on-demand AWD models – it’s clocking in at 232 horsepower, which is a 30-hp increase from the previous mechanical AWD model.
- Toyota engineers have tuned the new hybrid system at lower speeds – this will reduce engine RPMs and increase power to provide exciting acceleration and torque.
- This Orlando Toyota will also sport a retuned suspension for better handling and responsiveness, and the sport grades will have a sport-tuned suspension for an even more thrilling drive time.

What’s new in terms of tech on this Orlando Toyota sedan?
Now that we’ve nailed down the performance upgrades you’ll get on the 2025 Toyota Camry, let’s talk about the new tech showcased inside.
- The cabin of the 2025 model will offer an 8-inch or 12.3-inch touchscreen system, as well as wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto.
- There will be both USB-A and USB-C charging ports in both the front and rear, and dual Bluetooth connectivity plus WiFi Connect for up to five devices.
- The new Drive Connect subscription will ensure both touch and voice activation for the 2025 Toyota Camry – you can say “Hey Toyota” to activate the system and search for directions and points of interest, change the temperatures inside the cabin, and even change your audio.
- The new Camry will also come with a Digital Key on certain grades, as well as Remote Connect to unlock your vehicle and start it from the Toyota app on your phone.
- A Blind-Spot Monitor with Rear Cross-Traffic Alert and Toyota Safety Sense 3.0 come standard on the new 2025 Toyota Camry.
- The XLE and XSE grades will have the option of a power panoramic roof, and the XLE grade will offer automatic rain-sensing windshield wipers.
- Further, the smart key system with push button start is standard, and new front-size acoustic laminated glass reduces wind noise for a quieter cabin.

We’re excited for the style refresh on this new Toyota
Last – but certainly not least – let’s talk about style in the 2025 Toyota Camry.
- This Orlando Toyota will be refreshed for the new model year, rocking slimmer LED headlights, daytime running lights, and taillights.
- It has a sleeker and more athletic look with a hammerhead front fascia.
- New exterior paint colors will be offered, including Ocean Gem and Heavy Metal, as well as a new two-tone paint color.
- Further, the SE and XSE models have racing-inspired air ducts, front-side canards, and a rear diffuser, plus a dual-tip exhaust, and a rear lip spoiler.
- 18-inch and 19-inch wheels round out these two sporty models.
What about the cabin? New SofTex interiors are available in multiple colors and designs, as well as enhanced seat comfort. The shape and density of the seat cushion have been updated and the seat cushion itself was lengthened. The headrest was also softened and moved rearward for enhanced comfort.

Get ready for this next-gen hybrid Toyota
The best part about the new 2025 Toyota Camry Hybrid? You don’t have to plug it in. Toyota hybrids use regenerative braking to charge the battery, so you won’t ever have to remember to plug your car in to charge it. And here’s another bit of good news – Toyota has had Camry Hybrids on the market since 2006, so they’ve had over a decade to perfect this incredible best-seller. We can’t wait for the new 2025 model.
