New Toyota Mirai available in Orlando

The New Toyota Mirai is Back with an All-New Look

Toyota is an auto manufacturer that's never been one to go with the flow. Toyota is an auto manufacturer that has always made waves in the world of cars, especially when it comes to developing fuel-efficient technology. The Toyota Prius paved the way for electrified vehicle engineering all the way back in 1997 and the Toyota Mirai brought with it an all-new vehicle fuel source by using hydrogen back in 2015. Being at the forefront of new technology and cleaner fueling is something that Toyota takes great pride in and they don't plan on giving up the crown anytime soon. While the Toyota Mirai has been paving the way for an all-new fueling source and it's returning for the 2021 model year with all-new look that we think you'll love! Toyota of Orlando has the latest details on the new Toyota Mirai and what you can expect. What's New with the Revolutionary Toyota Mirai? The new Toyota Mirai has always been an elusive vehicle to those living in the Orlando area. This is because hydrogen fueling stations are currently limited to select areas like metropolitan California and Hawaii. Needless to say, we don't currently sell the Mirai here at the dealership (but, we can dream right?). While we may not see a Mirai here anytime soon, staying up to date on Toyota's new wave-making vehicle is still important and, who knows, maybe one day we'll get hydrogen fueling stations on this coast. But, for now, here's what to expect from the new Toyota Mirai: First off, the Toyota Mirai has been redesigned for its second generation. Inspired by sporty coupes and streamlined vehicles, the Mirai has been imbued with a look that both looks and feels good. Not only does this new vehicle look good, but it also sports more room than the first generation due to its longer and wider sedan design. Another major departure for the Orlando new Toyota Mirai is the change in the drivetrain from front to rear wheel. This will give drivers a sportier feel power coming from behind the driver. The interior has also been redesigned to match the exterior and drivetrain. The cabin will feature better exterior noise cancellation plus amazing technology upgrades like an 8-inch touchscreen combination meter, an optional digital rearview mirror, a 12.3-inch infotainment touchscreen, and a 14-speaker JBL sound system. The new Toyota Mirai will also feature a higher range than its predecessor. Toyota's target is to deliver a new Orlando Toyota vehicle that achieves a 30% longer range than the first generation Mirai to give drivers more time and mileage between fill-ups. The new model will still retain the convenient hydrogen fueling times from its predecessor generation. 20-inch alloy wheels will be an available style option for the 2021 Mirai. There haven't been many other revealed style options. The 2021 Orlando new Toyota Mirai is estimated to go on sale in later next year and we can't wait to see the final product of this revolutionary vehicle. While Orlando may not be ready to welcome a hydrogen fueled vehicle, we may see this technology before we know it. Luckily, you can still shop for an incredibly fuel-efficient vehicle with us today! Come check out our inventory at 3575 Vineland Road.

Will an all-new Toyota Land Cruiser be debuted for 2020?

While the Orlando Toyota Land Cruiser is a pretty amazing vehicle, you can't deny that it's been a while since it was updated in terms of appearance. While it gets upgrades for technology every single year as well as slight appearance modifications, it hasn't been redesigned for quite some time. That COULD be about to change - and Toyota of Orlando has the scoop on what the 2020 Toyota Land Cruiser may be bringing to our dealership when it's released. What will the 2020 Toyota Land Cruiser bring to the table? If a new Toyota Land Cruiser is being unveiled, it might make its big debut at the Tokyo Auto Show in November - it's pure speculation up until that point (unless Toyota makes a formal announcement). Why would it be such a big deal? Well, the current model - the 200 series - has been around since 2006. As noted, it's gotten some refreshes and upgrades, but essentially it's the same model. If a new 300 series were to hit the market, it would certainly bring big changes to this polished SUV. We don't know much so far - like we said, it's a lot of hope and speculation - but we do know that the new model would likely retain the body-on-frame construction for maximum comfort, as well as possibly swap out the current V8 engine for a twin-turbo 3.5L V6 engine that's currently found in the Lexus LS 500. Other than that, it's up in the air, but all signs are pointing to a major redesign on the horizon. See this Orlando Toyota SUV in person today But what makes the Orlando Toyota Land Cruiser such a much-loved option that one model can stretch almost 14 years without significant upgrades? Here are some of the highlights the current model has to offer: Off-road capabilities like multi-terrain select, CRAWL Control, four-wheel drive, and Active Traction Control as well as a Kinetic Dynamic Suspension System and towing capabilities of up to 8,100 lbs. A sleek interior decked out with perforated leather trim and cool wood-grain accent trim Seating for up to 8 with an additional 16.1 cubic feet of cargo space. Plus, the second and third row seats fold flat to give you plenty of space if you need it. An Entune Premium JBL Audio System  with a 9" touchscreen, Bluetooth wireless streaming, HD Radio, Sirius XM Satellite Radio, and 14 JBL speakers A rear-seat DVD entertainment system with two individual 11.6" screens and wireless headphones The Smart Key System on all doors and a Push Button Start Toyota Safety Sense P, the Star Safety System, and Safety Connect Services A four-zone automatic climate control system with pollen filtration mode A multi-terrain monitor with front, side, or rear views And so much more. Whether you wait for the 2020 model or decide to drive one home today, Toyota of Orlando can get you behind the wheel! What Ever Happened to the Toyota Hilux?

Toyota is a vehicle manufacturer with an impressive roster of diverse vehicles meant to suit the needs of any and all drivers. Everything from the Toyota 86 to the Tundra has features that are meant to service drivers with whatever their needs are. While Toyota's lineup includes several great nameplates like the Toyota Tacoma, Tundra, and 4Runner, there used to be several more back in the day. This truck is known for its rugged toughness and extreme capability, and a Back to the Future cameo (that's most likely where you know it from).   The Orlando Toyota Hilux is a truck that's developed a reputation as a truly tough truck. Top Gear drowned one in the ocean, let it fall from atop a demolishing building, and set it on fire and repaired it using basic tools. The truck still ran and made history as one of the most durable vehicles out there. But, why is it not available in the states anymore and where can you find one today? Toyota of Orlando has the details on the Toyota Hilux, check it out! The Story of the Toyota Hilux The legendary Toyota Hilux was, at one point, a staple in the North American market. It was introduced with a 1.5L I4 engine and was available with regular cab and short bed modifications. For its second generation, the Hilux featured an upgraded engine and more comfortable interior. The Orlando Toyota Hilux continued going strong and Toyota eventually reached an agreement with Winnebago Industries that allowed them to enter the SUV market. This lead to the development of the Hilux Surf, which eventually became the 4Runner. It wasn't until the fifth generation of the Orland Toyota Hilux that it was cancelled from the North American lineup. Oddly enough, Volkswagen manufactured the Hilux under their own nameplate, the Taro, from 1989 to 1997. The Hilux was replaced by the Toyota Tacoma in 1995 in North America but continued to be sold in South America. It was also cancelled in Japan in 2005. Where's the Toyota Hilux Now? While this iconic Orlando Toyota truck was cancelled in North America and Japan, the Toyota Hilux is still available in countries like South Africa, Thailand, and Australia. Recently, a GR racing edition of Hilux was made available in South Africa in very limited supply. There's also talks of introducing an EV model by 2025. This truck is available with engine sizes like 2.0, 2.4, 2.5, 2.7, 2.8, 3.0, and 4.0 liter sizes with inline-4 and V6 variants. For many drivers, the Orlando Toyota Hilux is a highly capable and customizable ride that can't be stopped. It may be gone from the North American market, but we still have an iconic compact truck to lean on. The Toyota Tacoma is a unique truck that features near-limitless combinations and accessories to customize it. It can be used as a regular commuting vehicle, an off-roading vehicle, or a working one. Whatever you need it for, this Toyota Hilux replacement is worth checking out. Make sure to stop by Toyota of Orlando at 3575 Vineland Road and check out our Toyota Tacoma inventory!

Orlando Toyota TRD

What is TRD, and what does it mean for your drive time?

What exactly is Toyota TRD? Plenty of people have seen the badging on vehicles when they're out and about on the roads and realize that it's something out of the ordinary, but most people aren't familiar with TRD beyond that. We're here to break the brand down for you so you have a better understanding of what this facet of Toyota has to offer you and your drive time and you're ready next time you shop at Toyota of Orlando. What does TRD stand for? TRD stands for Toyota Racing Development. This facet of the Toyota brand was developed for racing, but since vehicles intended for racing share so many characteristics with those built for off-roading, it naturally evolved into what it is now - a type of vehicle that's perfect for tackling different terrain because of its special suspension. Additionally, there are three grades of TRD packages - Sport, Off-Road, and Pro. The higher you go (with Pro being the highest), the more off-road-ready you are. What do these special Orlando Toyota TRD packages have to offer? What does each grade or TRD package have to offer? Here's the breakdown from our Orlando Toyota dealership. Sport: This TRD package focuses mostly on appearance - making your Toyota truck look a whole lot sportier without really changing much of the performance or engineering. It includes features like a non-functional hood scoop, fog lights, 17" alloy wheels, TRD graphics inside and out, and a sport-tuned suspension. You can find it most often on the Toyota Tacoma but it's sometimes up for grabs on the Sequoia and Tundra. Off-Road: The Off-Road TRD package is most often available on the Toyota Tacoma, Toyota 4Runner, Toyota Tundra, and Toyota Sequoia; however, it was most recently added to the Toyota RAV4.  It includes features that make your vehicle look different AND enhance its off-roading capabilities. You'll be able to take things up a notch with a special off-road tuned suspension system, multi-terrain select, CRAWL control, electronically-locking rear differential, and Bilstein shocks. On top of that, the appearance is upgraded with wide-angle fog lights, 16" alloy wheels, special Off-Road graphics, and an inclinometer with roll/pitch displays. Additionally, this package allows for a greater approach angle - 32 degrees instead of 29 degrees. Pro: The Pro TRD package is the top dog when it comes to all things TRD. Not only does it include premium off-roading features, it also adds convenience and comfort features that you'd typically find in a high-end model. It includes elements like a power moonroof, a black leather interior with leather shift knob, Pro graphics, a heritage-inspired "Toyota" front grille, and 16" black alloy wheels. Additionally, it ups your performance capabilities by adding features like TRD Pro Cat-back exhaust, Fox Internal Bypass coil-over springs and rear remote reservoir shocks, a thicker front skid plate, an a suspension system with a 1" lift. Additionally, the approach angle has been increased to 35 degrees and you'll even find features like dual-zone automatic climate control and a blind spot monitor with rear cross-traffic alert thrown in. This TRD package is typically available on the Toyota Tacoma, Toyota 4Runner, Toyota Sequoia, and Toyota Tundra models. However, did you know that you can also find TRD packages on other Toyotas that aren't designed to enhance performance for off-roading? The new Toyota Camry offers a TRD package that takes it up a notch in terms of appearance. People often ask if there's a TRD Corolla, too - unfortunately, the answer is not right now (as much as we'd love it). They're in their right to wonder, though. Back in 2000, there actually was a TRD Corolla. It was extremely rare (if you ask most Toyota people about it, they'll say they've never heard of it) and is a road-going version of the AE101 Corolla that raced in the Japanese Touring Car Championship. Obviously, this TRD Corolla isn't in the lineup today. However, if you really need to get your hands on something similar, the new GR Corolla is headed our way and offers a super-sporty, track-ready performance that you'd find in the TRD Corolla of days past. So, which one suits you and your drive time needs best? We've got good news - you can test drive any and all of them today at Toyota of Orlando. Just give us a call at (407) 298-4500 to schedule your appointment today!

Toyota of Orlando is here with the scoop - check out these 10 things you want to know about the 2020 Toyota Corolla before you slide into the driver's seat. Meet the new 2020 Toyota Corolla 1) The exterior looks pretty different (but still sportily stylish). The new 2020 Toyota Corolla will feature a lower stance, new fender flares, a wider wheelbase, and a lower hood. Aero stabilizing fins and a chin spoiler were added to some models, and new LED lighting schemes up the sophistication factor. Plus, you'll love the new paint colors called Celestite and Blueprint. 2) Bigger wheels are up for grabs for the 2020 model year. For the first time ever, you can drive home on new 18" wheels with multispoke alloys (and there are tons of other alloy wheel options available on this Orlando Toyota). 3) Elegance and ergonomics take precedence inside the cabin. The cabin has been redesigned to be more comfortable and sophisticated. You'll find that the instrument panel, sightline, and hood have all been lowered for better visibility. High-gloss and matte materials are mixed for a sporty look and this Orlando Toyota also showcases ambient lighting, silver and piano gloss black accents, SofTex seating, and new interior color schemes. 4) Your drive time will be a lot quieter. The 2020 Toyota Corolla trims down noise from the road and powertrain thanks to new sound-absorbing materials in the sealants, foams, and silencers. 5) Staying cool this summer will be a breeze. The A/C system in this new 2020 Toyota has been completely redesigned to be more compact and efficient - for example, it now minimizes windshield fogging by pointing dehumidified fresh air to the ceiling. 6) Hot new tech is integrated into your drive time. You'll love having features like Amazon Alexa, Apple CarPlay, Scout GPS Link, Safety Connect Services, Wifi Connect, Bluetooth wireless streaming, and optional JBL audio, all accessible via an 8" touchscreen. Don't miss everything this Orlando Toyota will have to offer 7) A new engine is available for better efficiency and performance. The 2020 Toyota Corolla will offer its standard 1.8L engine, but a new 2.0L Dynamic Force direct injection inline four-cylinder option that uses less fuel and produces more power. 8) You can go green in a hybrid model for the first time ever. Save fuel AND the planet in a new hybrid model. This Toyota hybrid will feature a 1.8L engine, the aforementioned redesigned A/C, and an exhaust heat recirculation system so it can stop the engine sooner and use less energy. 9) More Corollas will be assembled in the US. This car is already assembled at a plant in Mississippi. However, since more models will now be available, a new plant will be opened in Huntsville, Alabama. 10) It has a starting MSRP of just $19,500. Boom.
