New Toyota coming soon to Orlando.

An Update on the Latest New Toyota News

Every week it seems there's always something new coming down the pike in the automotive industry. For Toyota the news keeps coming and there's always a future new Toyota coming to our dealership soon. Currently, the 2020 Toyota GR Supra is on our lot right now (yay!), the 2020 Toyota Land Cruiser Heritage Edition is coming soon, and other 2020 models are either coming soon or are currently available at our dealership. With so many new models available right now, it's hard to keep track of them all. Combine that with all the news about Toyota and new vehicles that are coming soon and you can start to feel pretty inundated. Lucky for you, Toyota of Orlando is here with a concise guide on what's new and current in the world of Toyota! New Toyota Vehicles Coming Soon 1) 2020 Toyota 4Runner Venture Edition Officially Announced By now you're probably well aware of the imminent arrival of the new Toyota 4Runner with all-new infotainment and safety technology upgrades. But, while those upgrades sound nice, we want more from our beloved body-on-frame rugged SUV. Introducing, the officially announced Orlando new Toyota 4Runner Venture Edition. This limited edition model of the Toyota 4Runner is built on the TRD Off-Road model and includes all premium features of that model plus Yakima Megawarrior roof racks for additional storage up top. 2) A Second-Generation Toyota Mirai is on the Way for 2020! While the world is still slow to adopt hydrogen fueling on a widespread scale, Toyota is doubling down and releasing a second-generation iteration of the stylish Toyota Mirai. Unfortunately, no designs or engineering specifications have been released and it's difficult to pin down a release date. Hydrogen fueling has not been widely adopted and fueling stations (along with sales of the Mirai) are limited to California in North America. Unless hydrogen fueling stations are quickly introduced in the east, it's unlikely that we'll see the 2020 new Toyota Mirai available at Toyota of Orlando. 3) A New Toyota 86 is Coming! It's well-known that Toyota and Subaru have been frequent partners when it comes to vehicle development. They partnered to craft the iconic Orlando Toyota 86 (also known as the Subaru BRZ) and the Subaru Crosstrek Hybrid using Toyota Prius technology. For a while now, fans of both of these iconic auto brands have been yearning for a new rendition of the Toyota 86/Subaru BRZ and we're getting one pretty soon! Toyota has increased its shares in Subaru from 16.83% to 20% and Subaru will soon become an "associated company of Toyota." The two companies will possibly work on a pure EV in the future. But, the pair will most likely be collaborating on a new rendition of the Toyota 86/Subaru BRZ. Not many details have been confirmed regarding this Orlando new Toyota vehicle, but we're beyond excited to welcome it to the lot whenever it arrives. Sometimes it can be difficult keeping up with all the new Toyota news, luckily Toyota of Orlando is always up to date on all things Toyota. If you have any questions or want to check out our current inventory, visit our website or in store at 3575 Vineland Road.

Toyota sells 10 million Land Cruisers

Have you ever taken a look at the history of the Toyota Land Cruiser? It's pretty illustrious - after all, it's one of the original Toyota models from the very beginning. This versatile SUV first came to fruition way, way back in 1951, when it was developed to provide a rough-and-ready offroad ride for Japan's military. Since then it's evolved into a majorly adaptable SUV that offers not only the same exceptional off-road performance but also luxury features to ensure your drive time is everything you need it to be (and more). Needless to say, it's been a popular fan favorite for decades and we don't see it going anywhere soon. Find outdoor fun this weekend in Orlando

Fall is here! OK, so it dropped a few degrees and all the tropical activity out in the Atlantic is sucking the humidity out of the air. Still, temps in the 80s and low humidity call for some outdoor time after a long, hot, humid summer! What will you do in the City Beautiful to get your fair share of fresh air? Toyota of Orlando has some suggestions to get you out and about enjoying the weather (before it's gone - we all know it never lasts). Check it out! Food, wine, and fall fun are all within your reach this weekend Epcot Food and Wine Festival: This renowned Orlando festival runs from August 29 - November 23 and it's your best shot to enjoy Walt Disney World AND taste an amazing array of food and drinks (adult and non-adult). There are 30 Global Marketplaces from which you can sample food and drinks as well as a special concert series that brings the likes of Boyce Avenue, Hanson, Sugar Ray, Plain White T's, and more. You can even participate in chef demonstrations and hands-on workshops, as well as activities designed especially for kids. Universal Orlando's Halloween Horror Nights: Looking for a few scares to get yourself into the spirit of Halloween? Head over to Universal Orlando for Halloween Horror Nights! This special spooky event runs from September 6 - November 2 and it's your prime opportunity to scare yourself silly. Not only can you check out the numerous themed haunted houses and scare zones (think Stranger Things, House of 1,000 Corpses, Universal Monsters, and more), you can also hit all the rides while you're there if you prefer more of a roller-coaster thrill.  FYI - this event isn't suitable for kids. Scare up some fun at the parks Mickey's Not So Scary Halloween Party: Looking for something less about scares and more about a whole lot of candy? Round up the family and head to Mickey's Not So Scary Halloween Party at the Magic Kingdom. This event is ticketed separately and considered to be after hours, so the park is a lot less crowded and you and the fam will likely be able to hit all the rides. Additionally, there's trick-or-treating throughout the park (and it's the GOOD candy), a special Halloween fireworks show and parade, Disney Villains castle show, and the entire park is decorated for the party. We highly recommend it, even if you're a childless millenial. This event runs from August 16 - November 1. Magical Dining Month: Want to skip the parks and hang locally? You're in luck - Magical Dining Month runs from August 23 - October 7 and spans the City Beautiful, offering you delicious and seemingly endless options. How does it work? Basically, 125 participating restaurants offer a special three-course prix-fixe menu for customers to try for just $35. You'll get an appetizer, entree, and dessert for a fixed price (even at the fancy restaurants). Magical Dining also spans a huge variety of cuisines so there's something for everyone and plenty of options - get adventurous!   And don't forget, the best way to enjoy fall is from behind the wheel of a fresh new ride. Call Toyota of Orlando at (407) 298-4500 to learn more about our deals and enjoy your weekend!

What's coming to the Tokyo Motor Show?

The automotive world is getting hyped - the Tokyo Motor Show is fast approaching, and we can't wait to see which new Toyotas are unveiled when it finally arrives! Everyone knows that auto shows are the prime time to release new models, upcoming events and initiatives, and cool concept cars that may or may not make it into actual production. Toyota of Orlando is here with the scoop - check out what's rumored to be unveiled at this year's Tokyo Motor Show, taking place from October 24 - November 4! See Toyota of Orlando's take on rumored unveils this fall The Toyota TJ Cruiser We've written about the rumored Toyota TJ Cruiser before - this modernistic SUV is a part-SUV, part-minivan spinoff from the much-loved Toyota FJ Cruiser. It's supposed that it MIGHT go into production after being officially revealed at the Tokyo Motor Show and could even make its way to the US. What do you think - do you want to see this interesting new Toyota on our lot? The Toyota FT-4X This new Toyota crossover has four doors AND four-wheel drive, making it a versatile option for drivers from all walks of life. It's utilitarian with a high degree of adaptability and off-road-friendly features like low range and four-wheel drive, as well as cool add-ons like a multi-hatch that opens in two different directions and a "wet zone" where you can store muddy boots and damp wetsuits. Honestly, out of all the concepts, we think this one is the coolest and would love to see it at Toyota of Orlando eventually. A redesigned Toyota 86 Toyota has been talking a lot about a "performance trio", with the all-new Toyota Supra and the Toyota 86 being the first two members. However, before they introduce the third, they want to amp up the existing Toyota 86 with a new platform and possible engineering upgrades. Additionally, it'll still be a collaboration with Subaru so the popular BRZ will also see changes in its near future. The GRMN Toyota Supra We've seen the new Toyota GR Supra up close and personal right here at Toyota of Orlando. However, the GRMN model is a possible new sub-model will be lighter and will include an upgraded suspension and additional new engineering features to take performance up to a new level. We look forward to seeing what it has to offer! However, that's not all we'll see at the Tokyo Motor Show.
