A guide to the 2024 GR Corolla
If there was one car we were excited about in 2022, it was definitely the new Toyota GR Corolla. This track-ready hatchback is exciting to drive and has a sporty, fun appearance inside and out, but on top of that it’s also got an affordable starting MSRP. We could go on all day about it at Toyota of Orlando (seriously, make us stop) but instead, we’re going to give you a breakdown of the different models available to you when you shop the 2024 GR Corolla. Let’s get into it!
Which 2024 GR Corolla is the right fit for your driveway?
There are three models available when shopping the 2024 GR Corolla: Core, Premium, and Circuit Edition. However, before we get started let’s talk about some of the performance highlights you’ll find on this sporty new Orlando Toyota.
- A G16E-GTS 1.6L turbocharged 3-cylinder engine that’s track-ready - you’ll get 300 horsepower and 271 lb-ft torque
- GR-FOUR all-wheel drive with three power settings
- GR Circuit tuned suspension
- A six-speed intelligent manual transmission
- All models get 21/28 mpg and can seat five.
All in all, if you like to experience the thrill of the open road (or the open track), the 2024 Toyota GR Corolla is the right fit for you. Here’s a breakdown of the three models so you can choose the perfect fit.
Core
The 2024 GR Corolla Core at Toyota of Orlando may be the base level, but it’s anything but basic. This lightning-fast hatchback has a starting MSRP of $36,500 and comes in three colors - Supersonic Red, Ice Cap, and Black. Let’s move on to the exciting stuff. Here are some of our favorite features:
- LED headlights, Daytime running lights, and taillights
- 18 inch 15-spoke cast-alloy wheels
- Michelin Pilot Sport 4 tires for impeccable grip on the track
- Side rocker panels and fender flares
- Sport-tuned suspension
Plus, the interior showcases an 8-inch audio multimedia touchscreen with wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto. You’ll also love a 12.3-inch color multi-information display, as well as a fully digital gauge cluster.
Premium
The 2024 GR Corolla Premium is a step up from the Core and adds… well, premium features to your drive time. You’ll love the additional paint color available (Heavy Metal) as well as the heated front sport seats in Black Brin Naub and synthetic leather trim. However, you’ll really love upgraded features like:
- Front and rear Torsen limited slip differentials
- A heated steering wheel
- A JBL Premium Audio system
- Qi wireless charging for devices
- A gloss-black front grille with a special GR Badge and functional air ducts for enhanced performance
And you’re sure to turn heads with red-painted GR front brake calipers - a little hint of color that just adds to the uniqueness of this Orlando Toyota hatchback. The 2024 GR Corolla Premium has a starting MSRP of $40,320.
Circuit Edition
If you’re the type of driver that likes to stand out in the crowd, definitely consider the 2024 GR Corolla Circuit Edition. This special edition Orlando Toyota comes in two unique colors - Blue Flame and Ice Cap - and includes iconic features like:
- A forged carbon fiber roof - this lowers curb weight for serious get-up-and-go
- 18-inch 10-spoke forged alloy wheels
- A hood bulge that not only looks cool, but also has functional air vents
- A high-mounted rear spoiler
- An interior decked out in the same Black Brin Naub and synthetic leather, but with bright blue stitching
- A leather-trimmed shift knob with a blue accent stripe and carbon fiber insert
And only 1,600 of them will be produced and sold in the United States, which makes them a seriously hot commodity. Get yours now - it has a starting MSRP of $45,140.
What about the Toyota GR Corolla Core vs. Circuit?
Trying to decide between trims and getting stuck on the Core vs. Circuit? We get it - let us break it down for you. Basically, both of these Orlando Toyotas will offer the same incredible, track-driven performance, which means no matter which one you take home you’ll get all the thrills you’ve been seeking. However, there’s a big difference in terms of appearance, as well as technology. Here are the main points to think about when considering the Core vs. Circuit:
- The Core comes with an 8-inch audio multimedia system and six speakers, but the Circuit gives you a JBL Premium audio system with eight speakers and an amp.
- The Circuit also offers you Qi wireless charging, a feature not found on the Core.
- The Circuit has a sportier interior than the Core. This Orlando Toyota special edition has the Black Brin Naub and synthetic leather interior with blue stitching, and you’ll find special Circuit Edition nagging throughout. The front seats are also heated in this model. The Core, on the other hand, has fabric sport seats with gray stitching.
- The shift knobs on both Orlando Toyota GR Corollas are leather, but the Circuit sports one with a carbon fiber insert and blue accent stripe.
