The Toyota 4Runner is an absolute icon in the off-roading world - it's durable, capable, rugged, and yet still a comfortable and connected truck that allows for comfortable real-world driving, too. We know nothing about that but if it's true, it could push the 2024 Toyota 4Runner preview back further. Production could shift to North America. Typically, the 4Runner is produced in Japan. However, we see Toyota shifting production to North America more and more, so it's not out of the question to think that they might shift the Toyota 4Runner production here, too. It may have a different engine. Right now, this Orlando Toyota has a 4.0L V6 engine. However, we're consistently seeing Toyota downsize its engines (the Toyota Tundra and Toyota Sequoia went from V8s to V6s, for example).
