Don’t miss these July 4th events in Orlando!
The holiday weekend is coming! July 4th lands on Thursday of next week, and as usual, there are seemingly a million ways to celebrate in the City Beautiful (and don’t forget – we’re hosting an incredible July 4th sales event at Toyota of Orlando to bring you our best deals of the summer while they last). How will you be celebrating our Independence Day? Check out some of the top events going on in Orlando next week and don’t forget to wear your red, white, and blue.
Fireworks at the Fountain: July 4th, Lake Eola Park from 4 pm to 10 pm
Celebrate the 4th of July with Mayor Buddy Dyer at Lake Eola in Downtown Orlando this year! The celebration is free and kicks off at 4 pm. You’ll find food trucks, live music, games for the kids, and cold drinks available at Relax Bar and Grille and World of Beer. There’s a spectacular fireworks show at 9:10, but get there early to set up your picnic blanket by the water’s edge and get a good viewing spot.
Baldwin Park Independence Day Bash: July 3rd, 3710 Maguire Blvd., Orlando FL from 6 pm to 11 pm
Trying to celebrate early (or more than one day)? Hit this special Baldwin Park event, which is free to attend. You’ll love the kid’s play area, craft tables, and face painting for the family, as well as food trucks and a beer garden for the adults. Plus, the stage by the lake will play host to a DJ and a Battle of the Bands with 3 local bands. Choreographed fireworks kick off at 9:15. Oh, and four-legged friends are welcome (Mr. Toyota approves).
Independence Day at Magic Kingdom: July 4th, Magic Kingdom in Disney World, various events throughout the day
Hitting the theme parks for America’s birthday? You’ll be in good company, and Magic Kingdom has plenty planned for the big event. You’ll be able to view a special fireworks show over the castle at 9:15 pm on both the 3rd and the 4th, as well as catch special Independence-Day-themed dance parties throughout the park with your favorite characters. Not only that, the Muppets will be reenacting important moments in American History in Liberty Square all day. Bring a poncho and be ready for the crowds!
Smoke on the Water and Fire in the Sky: July 2nd, 3rd, and 4th, Port Canaveral/Cocoa/Cocoa Beach, various times
This special July 4th event takes place in three different cities and spans three days so you can make the most of the holiday. On July 3rd, make your way to Cocoa Beach for an incredible fireworks show over the Atlantic Ocean at 8:45 – bring your beach chairs and blankets! On July 4th, the festivities continue in Cocoa’s Riverfront Park with a street party, family activities, and fireworks over the Indian River Lagoon at 8:45 pm.
