The 9 best Orlando food festivals this fall

Fall is here, the weather is (sort of) cooling off, and it’s time to celebrate the season with the multitude of festivals that take place in Orlando this time of year. Toyota of Orlando is here with a list of current and upcoming food festivals in Orlando and the surrounding areas – don’t forget to wear your stretchy pants.

9 Orlando food festivals to check out this fall

#1: EPCOT International Food and Wine Festival: If you love exploring different types of cuisine from around the world, this festival is the spot for you. It stretches all the way into November so you’ve got plenty of time to attend (or you could go more than once, just saying). Sample food and drinks from around the globe and don’t miss the Eat to the Beat concert series where you can see some of your favorite artists from past and present. Tickets start at $109 for park entry and don’t forget to make a reservation online with Disney World before you plan your visit.

#2: International Food and Drink Festival at Lake Eola: Looking for international food and drinks in a more low-key setting? Head to Lake Eola on September 25, 2022 from 11am to 10pm. The International Food and Drink Festival will be held at this iconic downtown location and admission is free. There will also be live music and entertainment, raffles and giveaways, and a family-friendly vibe. Bring your chairs or picnic blanket!

#3: Central Florida Veg Fest: Whether you’re a practicing vegan or vegetarian or you just want to know more about healthier alternatives, Central Florida Veg Fest is the food festival for you. It takes place on October 22, 2022 from 10am to 6pm at Orlando Festival Park near downtown. Veg Fest features live music and entertainment, games for the entire family, eco-friendly speakers and presentations, cat and dog adoptions, and of course, vegan food. Admisson is free and parking is $5.

#4: Everybody’s Favorite BBQ & Hot Sauce Festival: Love barbecue? Check out this family-friendly festival on November 18, 2022 at Orlando Festival Park near downtown at starting at 5pm and running all weekend long. You’ll be able to sample barbecue and hot sauces from a multitude of vendors as well as live music and entertainment. Admission starts at $20.

#5: Oktoberfest at A La Cart: This Oktoberfest food festival celebration is happening September 17-18 from 11:30am to 10pm, so you’ve got plenty of time to hit it. Each vendor at this unique dining location will be preparing a German-themed special to pair with special German beers, including amazing dishes like Goulash, bratwurst, apple strudel, and even vegan schnitzel. At least 8 German beers will be on tap – don’t miss out. Admission is free!

#6: Winter Park Wine and Dine: Winter Park Wine and Dine takes place October 12, 2022 from 6:30pm to 9:30pm. Tickets start at $75 and you’ll be able to sample a wide variety of wine, beer, and specialty cocktails, as well as food from local vendors like Seasons 52, Tijuana Flats, Mowhawk Smokehouse, Boca Winter Park, and Kai Asian Street Food. There will also be a live DJ and music!

#7: Rum and Reggae Fest: If you’re still feeling the summer vibes, hit the Rum and Reggae fest at the Apopka Amphitheater on September 17, 2022 from 1pm to 10pm. Sample different rums and delicious Caribbean food while enjoying some of the biggest names in Reggae music as well as newcomers – you don’t want to miss performers like Freddy McGregor, Tanto Metro, and Rash Shiloh. Tickets start at $30.

#8: Fifth Annual Seafood Festival: Explore historic Mt. Dora while sampling some of the best seafood around! The 5th Annual Seafood Festival takes place at Simpson’s Cove and Gilbert Park, and more than 100 booths will be there for you to explore. There will also be live music and entertainment, shopping, and pirates (does it get much better?). Don’t miss out – head to Mt. Dora on September 24, 2022 from 11am to 5pm.

#9: Oktoberfest 2022: The  German American Society of Central Florida is hosting Oktoberfest this year on October 1 and 22 from 12pm to 10pm at the German American Society clubhouse in Casselberry. Tickets are $5 and you’ll get to sample a variety of authentic German food and beers, as well as check out the Biergarten, watch German live music and dancing, browse local vendor booths, and have the kids wear themselves out in a bounce house.
